Academic tutoring with Breakaway offers proven, flexible instruction and can accommodate students who need only intermittent help, as well as those who require weekly support. If your student is not getting the support or enrichment they need to thrive academically this year, Breakaway can help with customized instruction for all levels of high school math, science, language arts, composition and study skills. With an instructor team that includes plant biologists, chemical engineers, calculus textbook authors, biochemistry PhDs, budding novelists and freelance professional editors, Breakaway can provide an unrivalled tutoring experience for your student.

With Breakaway tutoring, your student can receive live instruction on a range of subjects, comprehensive homework review, and test preparation for midterms, finals and a range of AP exams. Breakaway’s rate for academic tutoring is $110/hr, and there is no minimum or maximum number of hours and no contract to sign. For college-level classes, the rate for tutoring is $135/hr.

And because we only work on an hourly basis, we don’t ask you to sign a contract for a pre-determined number of hours. We provide only the help a student requires, and no more. Our rate for academic tutoring for most high school classes is $110/hr. For AP economics classes, the rate is $125/hr. For college-level tutoring, the rate is $135/hr. There is no contract to sign.
