AP Physics Primer

Breakaway is pleased to offer an AP Physics Primer small group class this summer. The goal of this class is to help ensure students have been exposed to and reviewed the foundational concepts required to be successful in this AP class.

The AP Physics Primer offers 12 hours of instruction consisting of a combination of lectures, in-class exercises and some homework each night. The class will run over five days to give students a focused review and learning experience in a relatively short period of time. Students will leave the AP Primer with a set of handouts, notes and worked problems for a strong start in their AP classes.

Monday, July 27th through Friday, July 31st
9:00 – 11:30am
Cost: $695 includes all materials
Online via Zoom until the risk of community spread of the Covid-19 virus subsides

This course will review foundational concepts in general physics. Students will work with Newton’s laws, kinematic motion equations, and conservation of energy in order to connect these concepts to their understanding of applications in physics.
