Summer Test Prep!
We are pleased that you are considering Breakaway Test Prep’s August course as your student prepares for his or her Fall ACT. As you know, higher standardized test scores can not only help improve candidacy at target colleges and universities, better scores can also improve access to merit scholarships. In fact, some schools even give out guaranteed scholarships to students whose scores meet a minimum threshold.
Presented for the second year running, Breakaway Test Prep is pleased to offer an innovative small group test-prep class designed to help prepare students for the September 14th ACT.
Beginning Thursday, August 8th, Breakaway Test Prep will provide an intensive four-week, 12-hour program designed to help get your student ready to take the ACT. Breakaway will provide three hours of ACT instruction on four consecutive Thursday mornings in August (August 8th, August 15th, August 22nd, and August 29th). Each class will be held from 9:00am – 12:00pm, and will take place at Bloomington-Jefferson High School.
This course will provide thorough reviews of all sections of the exam – English, math, reading, science, and writing. Instruction will also include overviews of critical test-taking strategies and time management tips for each section of the ACT. Students should expect to complete approximately 2-3 hours of homework for each class. In addition to the Thursday classes, Breakaway recommends that students schedule a practice pre-test in June or July as well as a post-test in early September to measure their progress. Breakaway offers practice tests every weekend at its office in St. Louis Park.
The price for the program is just $595.00, $100 off of our regular price of $695.00. The price includes 12 hours of instruction, pre- and post-class practice tests, and all materials. The deadline to register is August 5th, 2019.
